- .co.in: A domain under .in, often used by businesses. ₹679 for the first year, ₹1,039 on renewal. WHOIS privacy is not available. Registration term: 1 to 10 years.

What is a .in domain used for?
A .in domain is India’s country-code extension. It suits businesses, organisations and people who want an Indian web address. It is the shortest of the three Indian-style options.
To check a name, see the .in domain page.
What does .co.in mean?
.co.in is a domain under .in, also managed by NIXI. It is often used by businesses, and many people register it alongside .in. The two are separate domains, so registering one does not reserve the other.
You can search it on the .co.in domain page.
What is a .com domain?
.com is a generic domain extension operated by Verisign and used by businesses and people around the world. It does not point to a country, which is why many sites that expect visitors from several countries choose it.
Look up a name on the .com domain page.
How much do .in, .co.in and .com cost?

Prices can change, so check the current figures on the pricing page before you buy.
Is WHOIS privacy included?
Namelume includes WHOIS privacy free with .com for the registration term. It is not available for .in or .co.in.
Which should you register: .in, .co.in or .com?
Choose based on who your visitors are, whether the name is available, and your budget. Register .in for a short Indian address, .co.in for the Indian address under it that businesses often use, and .com if your audience is global or you want the most widely used extension. The extension alone does not decide how a site ranks in Google: Google treats country-code extensions such as .in as a signal for the country you target, and .com as generic. If the terms extension and TLD are new to you, read what a TLD is.
Can I register .in, .co.in and .com together?
Yes, if you want to cover all three. The “Get all three” option adds .com, .in and .co.in to your order together at their usual prices: ₹2,337 for the first year and ₹3,587 a year on renewal. It costs more than registering one, so treat it as an option, for example when you want to protect a brand name.
Do these domains renew automatically?
No. Domains do not renew automatically. You renew from your account, and the Renew option appears 90 days or less before expiry. To move a domain away, you get the transfer code from your account. Transfers follow the registry’s rules, including any waiting period.
What should you do after you register?
Once the name is yours, add hosting so it points to a live site. See the hosting plans.
