No. A .in domain is registered for 1 to 10 years at a time and renewed before it expires.

Yes. At our checkout, .in and .co.in domains can only be registered with an Indian address: the contact details you enter for the domain must have India as the country.

Yes. After a .in or .co.in domain is registered, you get an email with the subject 'Verification for .IN Domain(s)'. Open it and finish two steps: verify your email and complete the identity check (eKYC). Our order confirmation email lists these steps too. Please finish both by the date shown in that email. If it is not done in time, the domain is suspended and cannot be refunded.

No. Domains do not renew automatically. You can renew from your Namelume account, where the Renew option appears when the expiry date is 90 days away or less.

Yes. You can request a transfer code from your Namelume account. Transfers follow the registry's rules, including any waiting period after registration.
