What is domain privacy (WHOIS privacy)?
Domain privacy, or WHOIS privacy, is a service that replaces your personal contact details in the public record of who owns a domain with masked details. Registering a domain requires your full name, email, phone number and address, and the service keeps those details out of the public record.
Do you need WHOIS privacy?
You do not have to use it, but it suits anyone who does not want their name, email, phone number and address shown in a public record. A business that already publishes those details on its website may not need it. Not every domain extension supports it, and the extension is the part after the last dot.
Which Namelume domains include WHOIS privacy?

- Add the domain to your cart and look at the notes under the domain. The cart says when WHOIS privacy is not available.
